Shamanic Concepts: Drum, Dance and Journey – 4 Part Workshop Series

We are all intimately connected to Spirit. We exist in a web of energy that includes every living thing; animals, plants, the elements of earth, air, fire and water, ores and minerals, even life on the cellular and atomic levels. This web also includes beings in the spirit world. Guardian angels, ancestors, power animals, teachers and guides – all are present and accessible. All these helpful spirits can be communicated with and provide information that can help us with the issues in our daily lives.

This 4 part workshop provides an introduction to Shamanic technique. We’ll discuss the basic concepts of the Shamanic approach to life and learn drumming, dancing and meditation techniques to help us access the spirit worlds. We’ll connect with our power animals, teachers and ancestors, and form working relationship with them to help us remain balanced and centered in a chaotic world.

• Connecting with our Power Animals -

Intro to shamanic concepts and techniques, shamanic journey to find our power animal helpers.

• Working with our Power Animals -

Establishing a relationship with our power animals and getting information regarding our life issues; health, conflict resolution, emotional balance etc.

• Connecting with our Spirit Guides -

Shamanic journey to find our teachers in the Spirit world and establish a relationship with them.

• Connecting with our Ancestors -

Finding helpful ancestral spirits for info on our heritage and lineage, gain insight into our past, present and future.

This Workshop Series will be held at the Center for Integrative Well Being 42839 Five Mile Rd., Plymouth MI 48170

Saturdays – 10/22,  11/19,  12/17/2011, and 1/21/2012  from 1:00-3:30 pm.   $150.
